ABOUT HOWARD
From the disciplined halls of the United States Navy to the steadfast corridors of the Connecticut Department of Corrections, to the educated hills of Naugatuck Valley Community College as a Professor of Criminal Justice and Local Government, to her historic elected position as the Registrar of Voters, Lushonda has led a life dedicated to service, integrity, and commitment to her country and community.
WHY I'M RUNNING ?
I'm running for Mayor because I believe our community deserves an effective, efficient government that displays Professionalism, Accountability and Transparency (PAT).
Hamden deserves leadership that listens and delivers. I've seen the challenges we face - whether it's improving our fiscal outlook, expanding economic opportunities, or making sure every neighborhood gets the attention it deserves. I will bring a collaborative approach with fresh energy and real solutions to The Government Center and ensure that every voice in our town is heard and valued.
