Meet Lushonda D. Howard
Mayoral Candidate
Lushonda "Shon" D. Howard is a veteran, parent, and public servant who is passionate about bringing about fiscal reform, public safety, equitable education, and community support to the residents of Hamden, Connecticut. In her storied career as a community service member and educator, she has served as an officer in Department of Corrections, a Professor of Criminal Justice at Naugatuck Valley Community College, and currently serves as the the first elected African-American Democratic Registrar of Voters in Hamden.
